Senior .NET Developer – FinTech (Onsite, Karachi, PKR Salary)
Job Description:
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in .NET application development.
- Strong expertise in C#, .NET Core/.NET 8, ASP.NET Core, and Web APIs.
- Experience designing scalable, secure, and high-availability backend systems.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server and database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture, dependency injection, and asynchronous programming.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is preferred.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based version control.
- Strong understanding of application security, authentication (OAuth, JWT), encryption, and secure coding practices.
- Experience working on FinTech, digital banking, payment processing, financial platforms, or regulated environments is highly preferred.
- Experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Azure Service Bus is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance backend solutions using .NET technologies.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services that support financial applications.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, mobile developers, QA engineers, and product teams to deliver reliable software solutions.
- Design database structures and optimize queries to improve system performance.
- Implement security best practices to protect sensitive financial and customer data.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
- Participate in system architecture discussions and recommend technical improvements.
- Review code, mentor development team members, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Develop automated tests and support CI/CD processes to maintain software quality.
- Monitor application performance and continuously improve system scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
